Debian is my go to OS for running VMs in the cloud--Google, AWS...
Trisquel takes the Linux Kernel and removes all the proprietary blobs by default.
Libre Kernel only!!!
Ubuntu is a distro OWNED by the CORPORATION called CANNONICAL.

I am using Pop!_OS supported by the folks at system76. I run it on my own hardware.
here in detail 13 years ago. this has not changed. it is still the same today. richard has given a presentation last month, he repeated that. today's ubuntu is not free

I really wanted to use manjaro, but proved to be a little challenging for my needs. I am hoping to try it again soon when i learn more about its commands and repos... there is also less community support to rely on than debian or unbutu based distros. But I do love what they are doing!
