I have two friends who regularly drink coffee and both frequently struggle with constipation.
Listening to them talk about how they need coffee to poop is like listening to a stoner who needs weed to sleep.
Doesn't seem right to me.

They just need more water/hydration.
I dreamed about that ✨️👌
They also eat cheese, is what in thinking.
Good luck getting adequate calcium and esp Vit K2 without cheese.
Coffee increases energy which spends minerals and nutrients quickly. Folks outside of #peatstr are often dehydrated and nutrient deficient. Can't have your cake and eat it too.
Long term, nutrient deficiency, especially when paired with seed oils, can degrade the nervous system, creating dysmotility and chronic constipation by way of dysregulating vagal tone and underproducing acetylcholine.
Most just need a bit of extra fluid with electrolytes and a good B vitamin. Folks with nervous system issues will need extra thiamine and extra choline, at least.
Interesting. I'd like to learn more. Do you have a book, blog, or video series you'd recommend to start?
Thiamine deficiency is an epidemic.
Elliot Overton has a good intro on how he used it to overcome dysmotility.
You can branch out from there.
I notice big increase in sweating after a good cup of coffee. Like sitting down doing nothing and starting to sweat 10-15min after coffee
A lot of people are so dehydrated it’s amazing they still function. I love it when you order coffee and they give you a glass of water with it, that should just be default.
Drinking triphala will loosen them up
