Rupert Lowe just launched “Restore Britain” in the UK; an online schelling point meant to help organise a minority around certain core principles that the people of the country agree on.
Elon Musk is launching a political party in the US in which the theory is they can control the swing votes between the UniParty.
I’m going to make a prediction that Lowe’s organisation will be FAR more effective (but ultimately nothing more than a can kick). He will become leader of the Tories using this vehicle and they’re going to put people in place who will be called fascists and Nazis because they’re actually going to do stuff that people want if they have power. They might do some real damage but ultimately won’t change the base layer enough to achieve their goal of restoration.
Musk’s party is going to get out-cheated and aside from some good soundbites, they will have little impact on the US’ direction, which will not fundamentally change.
Neither of these are going to “win”. You don’t beat the game playing by their rules - you create a new game and you stack the deck in your favour, then make them play your game which they can’t win.
Lowe’s movement could do this but they won’t, watch it eventually get hi-jacked by Boomercons and split generationally; Musk’s party cannot do this and is DOA.
Also, Elon admires Nazis.

If he did he’d be about getting rid of The Fed; which he’s not, so he doesn’t, or at least not enough to actually affect change.
Well, that's one point in his favor.
And, that’s a mute
Mute me too please. I come to Nostr to avoid NPCs and you are clearly programmed by thoughts you don’t even understand let alone could point to where they came from.
