Is there a way for me to open a 0.5 BTC channel to Alby's node using your service?
As far as we know, Alby uses its own node(s) to facilitate incoming and outgoing payments to/from their wallets. So can you please explain further what you mean? Thanks!
With regards to the amount of 0.5 BTC, we can easily acommodate such capacities.
I would like to open a channel to Alby. But at 0.5 BTC it's more than I can afford. The reason I want to is so I can start lacing together a payment network for 'Value for Value" as my podcast (Bitcoin And . . . ) relies on large boosts. My old node just never had enough oomph to allow 100,000 sat boosts to come through. I think having channels between Alby, Podcast Index, Fountain, and Wavlake might be a good starting point for a robust #V4V routing/payment network (I reserve the right to be completely wrong about this).
It might be advantageous to me to pay a fee to you to provide a payment channel between my node and Alby's. Probably not possible but I think it's an interesting idea.
