I'm happy i stopped reading the news. Been news free for almost a year now and i have no urges anymore to read anything.
Reflecting back on it, i never read much news but there was definitely a period where i had to resist a bit of FOMO, but i worry so much less and have so much more time. Totally worth it.
Yeah, I try to avoid it as much as possible too, important things will always reach you… but sometimes it’s hard to avoid the stupidity that’s going on.
For me personally, and the way my brain works, it’s just too much to process and it impacts my mood instantly.
And since I have zero influence on what’s happening or going to happen it really isn’t worth the braincycles.
