I am new to solo mining. Right now I’m using public-pool.io

Is it possible for me to have my own solo mining pool for my miners using my Bitcoin Core node? Where can I learn how to do that?

thank you, public pool seems to be doing good work and serves all my needs I’d just like to actually be self sovereign in my set up. I think that would be cool.

Yup! Be weary of running external software on the same machine & use a second computer if possible.

This is something nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll makes pretty simple, you could use their OS & integrate the pool service in their marketplace with a second pruned node on the same machine.

right now I run BTC core on my laptop which is linked to sparrow for cold storage. Might need to get a cheap windows laptop in order to run another node like Umbrel to have my own pool. Using public-pool.io right now
