I don’t have kids yet, but I can say that I got tremendous value out of them growing up. I played through high school. Additionally, I find that employees that played high level athletics are far more disciplined and hard working than those that did not. True meritocratic competition without all the pomp, circumstance, and virtue signaling that pro sports has become was definitely a net plus in my life.
