It has to be some sort of marketing plan for both Star link and his overall image/brand. It is very obvious(especially to anyone who plays POE) that he is lying about his skills and time in the game. I am closing in on 100 hours myself and no where near the gear and character level. No way he is putting 100+ hours into a video game.
He could have achieved a better result by just playing the game and not pretending to be something he is not. But I guess that is his motto.
