I make my own hummus all the time. All the supermarket hummus is trash made with seed oils instead of olive oil.
Seed oil is the worst!!!!!
These are the only acceptable ingredients for hummus:
Chickpeas (not from a can)
Tahini paste
Garlic (fresh pressed, not powdered)
Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
Sea salt
Extra virgin olive oil
Optional: Cumin, Za’atar
