I feel sorry for people who drive around $80k-100k vehicles with a loan thinking it’s a flex. Shows their lack of discipline and financial ignorance…

Much rather drive an older car that is paid for..

I agree. My first house cost $97,000 and I cannot justify a vehicle costing the same amount.

It literally breaks my brain

The poor man’s idea of what a flex is.

Basically

80-100k. That's a whole coin.

Crazy to think about. Drive around a depreciating asset or one that will go up with time.. easy decision

There was a question that went viral on X recently: would you buy a $250k Porsche with a $5m net worth?

I think the answer is no unless it’s like a lifelong dream or something

Agreed!

True story.

Once I had to represent my employer, a listed company, at an investors and analysts meeting.

I parked my beat up ten year old Asian Wagon between a Porsche and an Aston Martin, got out and surveyed all the other luxury brands in the venue car park. Seems it was a big deal for these guys to have driven out of London.

I catch one of the analysts staring at my transport and I smile back. "Nice, isn't she? Gets me from A to B just the same, and yet she's unique, not another one like her in this car park".

Guy laughed and took me inside to introduce "the man with the unique car"... and we kept it going a bit as people came out to see this marvel, only to discover it was my turquoise Asian Wagon.

😂😂😂 legend!!

💯 It’s high time for this mindset to disappear
