Request to add “zero gun deaths per year”
Thanks, I might need to whip this out tomorrow to help a someone understand my perspective. This is probably more straightforward than the last week or two of mental preparation.
Was thinking more about this from the perspective of folks higher up in the diagram. If someone is living in your citadel in a way that isn’t in accordance with your rules, are they “peaceful”?
So they are violating the terms of a contract which they voluntarily consented to?
No they are just there
Well how did they get there?
If you are in my house, how did you get there?
Did you come inside with or against my consent?
If it was consensually, what were the terms, if any Are you just visiting or do we have some contractual agreement?
If you're just visiting I can ask you to leave for whatever reason.
If we had a contract that we each agreed to voluntarily, then your access to my house world be subject to that contract.
All good questions. Yeah, I think the feeling that I’m getting at is that both parties think the have a right to be there.
For example, the government believes that the person living on land they claim is a valid form of implied consent. That person does not recognize that, nor do they recognize the government’s claim to the land in question as valid.
"a theory of implied consent for state authority requires already accepting the state has authority which no other person or entity has."
