Bitcoin constantly makes me repurpose old hardware and put off tech purchases. Like, I didn't retire my abused Radeon HD 7950 until 2020, and I collect whatever friends and family throw away/can't or won't fix.

Bitcoin changed that about me (or maybe it was just age) because fiat-minded-me would only chase after the top-of-the-line tech; trading and swapping components constantly squeezing everything to the limit. Post-orange pill, I run everything into the ground before considering new replacements 😏
