Every day, lately, the trending notes are full of this sort of Debbie Downer stuff, from popular accounts, who are trying to prevent the expansion of the userbase and demoralize the devs.
But it's an open protocol, so the future will belong to those who build it. 💪

We're not crazy, stupid, or inexperienced. Nostr really is that cool.
Nostr wouldn't even exist without the idealists. It stands to reason that departing from those ideals is what would actually destroy Nostr. I wouldn't use it if it were the same as the other things I left.
See this is why I do t use clients with featured or trending content. It's a broken matrix since forever. Might as well go back to X and follow trends there. Same noise, little signal 🚥
Unfortunately, people are getting onboarded to those clients, so you have to go there to see what most people are looking at.
And then you see depressing stuff like this, from people who don't even know it's a protocol. 😭

I only recommend certain clients to people and Primal (for example) isn't one of them.
Trends, literally just a twitter clone (doesn't support the "other stuff"), custodian wallet and then there is the shadow ban incident everyone has already forgotten.

And I can't zap with the new version, even though I connected my Alby wallet.
