Using the Megalith recommended channel is more expensive than a bitcoin layer 0 transaction

Ugh really? I was wondering this too. I created a channel with Megalith and had a bad hunch about it. Iām a beginner in lightning, do you have any resources that explain best practices on how to find best nodes to open channels with, how to manage the balances on my channels, etc?
Unfortunately I have found that the only way is try and error. It depends on your use case. What are you using lightning for? Open channels with the servers or clients you are going to use, and other big nodes. You can find nodes on Amboss Space and see their fees and everything, can also see your own node on amboss.
Dont be afraid to loose a couple thousand sats on comissions, nothing is free in this world
