I'll comment on how the American people allow it. We no longer can vote with the dollar. The government has the ability to print money to fund whatever wars they want without the people's tax money. So the people's interests don't matter if you can just step around them and still get the money to fund whatever you want.
I really need help understanding international politics, especially American involvement in the Middle East & Israel. I'm quite confused.
