Lunch at a tonkatsu speciality shop! Japanese fried pork cutlet, tonkatsu, is a pretty popular food item but having it at a speciality shop is a whole nother level.

It is always fried to perfection. it's their signature dish. their life and blood of the restaurant, after all.

There's unlimited cabbag that is sliced super thin. it is light and fresh when your mouth needs a break from the pork.

My sauce of choice is the traditional tonkatsu sauce. It has a thick syrupy consistency and I believe it is a soy sauce base. My favorite part is grinding your own sesame seeds before you pour the sauce on top. The fragrant nuttiness is a nice addition to the whole dish.
