I don’t know… lots of empty wallets out there…
I've been thinking about that. If we get somewhere close to a bitcoin standard (price reflecting total world productivity) will we go through a population boom? Or do accurate price signals allow us to naturally moderate population? I just don't know where it would fall, above the carrying capacity as a push mechanism for innovation? Or inside?
Another thing will the bitcoin cycles show in population figures?
Probably not in my lifetime and not in the big cities. We just keep getting more immigrants, while brainwashed boomers and indoctrinated college grads vote left and throttle housing supply.
cost of living in japan has been getting lower too
No it isn't. Rice has doubled in price in 18 months. It's still way cheaper than the US but it isn't getting cheaper.
🤔 potential opportunity? We could organize groups of bitcoiners to buy up land and rebuild communities. I love Japan, I'd make a great ninja.
Why do you think they allow mass immigration
Japan has a better migration strategy than the US and EU. This does not help either.
This is what it looks like when housing drops to utility value. I am considering buying an older home in the countryside of Japan and renovating and it will cost me 1/3 of what the median house in Australia costs.
The negative being that most of my neighbours are 70+ and very few families with kids.
Your house is a sound investment, it can never go down
