But someone who denies or mentally blanks out the logic behind their own beliefs won't really understand someone telling them they support slavery. It's like telling boomer churchers that self sacrifice is suicide. You might as well be saying "good is bad."
"Universal healthare/income is slavery" just sounds like "helping people is slavery" to normies. To make matters worse they have been sold a cartoon of black people in rags & chains being whipped as slavery so it's kinda like saying giving people money involves whipping black people.
Non of that really means it shouldn't be said, I think churchers need to hear that self sacrifice in suicide & normies need to hear that "free stuff" is slavery, but it might be a good idea to unpack those things a little more.
