Have you tried Gupax? Very easy.
Tari immediately starts merge mining with Monero by default too once it syncs.
Considering it now but looks like it's released for desktop before Android - that's incredibly dumb.
The fact that I've tried to do this before, it didn't work, and the community neither fixed that nor helped me, makes me hesitant to support the community by spending more time trying to use software that isn't designed correctly.

The community has more CPU power available from phones than desktops/laptops, and yet there would still probably be less electricity consumed at full phone saturation than full desktop/laptop saturation.
The longer I discuss this the more I do not want to validate people who have made it harder to mine on the right platform than the wrong one. If I have to waste electricity mining on the wrong device for the Monero community to not fail, because the Monero community has programmers who do stupid shit and none who fix the issues in over 10 years, then Monero deserves to fail.
Also, if the only easy to use app is for the wrong platform, obviously it makes sense that the right platform wouldn't be "typical"
