Seems like utter garbage from someone with a track record of lying/overstating things for their own profit.

He used GPT4 to come to his conclusions for crying out loud lol

Just seems to be FUD with no basis for it, and even if it's true he had no access to Monero in any way at that time. There is no backdoor, everything is FOSS, and he wasn't even a maintainer then.

Who knows, trumped up (very old) charges and a smear campaign by Interpol and some keyboard investigator? IF Monero is actually that good, ofcourse some governments would want the guy in jail.

Yeah, my hypothesis is it was all fabricated to scare the Monero community and in hopes he had more control than he did over the project.

None of it makes sense otherwise, but the INTERPOL conjecture seems entirely baseless.
