Last Christmas I tried eggnog for the craic , just to see what the yanks are always banging on about : listen to me now , eggnog is fucking delicious.

I put it up there with Baileys or something like that, it's very rich and comforting, and I find that it actually soothes your tummy , so gentle and smooth, I love it , and the nutmeg and the spices and all that , mmmmnn man , I wonder why I didn't try this before.

Thing is , I lost the recipe I was using last year, and the thing I liked about it was that it was a really simple recipe , nothing complicated.

Does anybody have a good , simple egg-nog recipe I can use this year?
