Had another nice little scared shitless moment. Thinking that all relays started censoring me for my nip 80085 proposal.

Then I got yet another not so subtle message from let us just say whoever has been guiding me towards unleashing my inner potential behind the scenes technically. While closely monitoring my progress.

Message received loud and clear my dudes.

Shutting the fuck up about NIP 80085.

#Nostr. You are on your own. I am not going to fuck around and find out on this one.

Wish you the best of luck on saving yourselves.

For as of right now I do not have the time, or desire to design a privacy and security flaw patch. I brought it to your attention.

Let your greed blind and bind you, or heed my warning and patch your shit. This is no longer my responsibility. Have a wonderful day.

Probably its just that devs aren't paying attention to global posts. Busy folks, devs. And I'm the least useful person for something like this. But I would also say, these guys are pretty smart. The game is a lot bigger than personal security - win the big prize, and that'll be a lot easier.

Honestly, I wish I could go more in depth on this subject matter. However given who my cousin is, what has happened to me these past few years, and countless other wtf moments.

I am just going to stop unintentionally meddling in affairs that are beyond my respnsibilities, or comprehension. Focus on being creative and being genuinely me instead.

I have far too much respect for their line of work. As well as too much to lose at the moment by fucking around any more than I have unintentionally done already.

As I have said many times. I am the smartest dumbass that anyone will ever know. Sorry if I have been any trouble. Have a wonderful day.

Oh yeah, well I'm the dumbest smartass, so 😜

If you're on Amethyst, you can tell your client to only connect over a VPN - I think it suggests Orbot, which I got, and here you can see where the option is. It says something different before you turn it on. This way, no relay ever sees my actual IP address. You can see a list of all IPs that looked at your bio - so your security depends on never exposing that. Maybe it isn't a perfect solution, but it probably eliminates 90% of possible exposures. Probably the worst thing you can do is zap someone while not behind a VPN/tor because then your LN address can be correlated with your physical location - IF I'm understanding these things rightly, and to be fair, I'm not the best person to talk about this.
