Continuing in the #GrowNostr Initiative, day 2:

Trying to decide if I should plant my garden this weekend or wait for it to be a little warmer. Forecast shows high in the 70's, but lows are still in the 40's. I'm just not sure about soil temps and how much it really matters...

I've read cold soils can retard plant growth. Is that a temporary stunt or does it affect the entire trajectory of the growth potential of the plant through its lifecycle?
