I think what makes Nostr a 'hard sell'/'difficult to market', is that we dont introduce some flashy new breakthrough tech invention. You can market absolute bullshit, as long as you have this magical 'thing'.
Take Bitcoin for example. For people to 'comprehend' they needed a reason, something to point to and go 'ah that is why this new thing exists and is exciting!'. That became """BlOcKcHaIn""".
Clueless marketing people, managers, sales reps etc. could watch some 5 minute video explaining 'Blockchain', attach some properties to it in their mind, and all the sudden feel somewhat comfortable in the conversation/meeting. 'Ah yes, blockchain' i know what that is, here is a bunch of money to do a proof of concenpt to improve our business processes blablabla.
An entire industry of absolute nonsense, all based on a stupid word, because that appearently is what people need to hold on to to deal with the anxiety they feel when confronted with something new 🤷♂️
