I am a big fan of Ancona ducks. Excellent meat, excellent layer.
I have had two and my dog Lucy killed both. I can't explain why other than they are "different" in look and manner. She never even looks at the others but both were given to us and dead in days after they got here. She instantly keyed in on both and didn't get go after them, literal duck murder. I don't get it but I have accepted it.
