Folks, does anyone know any good resources for educating myself on present best practices for bitcoin custodial services? I know a lot of that stuff is secretsecret but there must be someone educating in the same that can help me build out my busienss practice in the space where there is some overlap?

What exactly do you need?
All of this comes down to particular use cases. Having some multi-sig setup with geographical separation of keys is fairly important. None of this requires anything other than probably Sparrow wallet and some time or if you want to get fancy, some signing devices, preferable not the same brand/model.
While some of the techniques are more complicated, nothing is inherently awful to understand about how to keep BTC. Which is yet another reason why I utterly detest lightning. heh
