As far as I understand, none of these vulnerabilities are fundamental flaws in the protocol but rather bugs to be fixed.

My suggestion is to think about these as opportunities for teaching folks better. For each comment try thinking about what led them to that misconception, what is the root of their misunderstanding, etc.
Yep, but hacker news crowd is much closer to the outside world, so it’s useful for us to understand.
