correction is a gift.
and yet, it stings. it feels painful. it brings with it the harsh realization that you have failed Her in some way, or, even worse, are the one responsible for Her pain.
your ego works swiftly to protect itself—not you, and certainly not Her. it urges you to deflect, diminish, excuse. it compounds your error further.
a good boy recognizes correction as an opportunity to choose realignment over pride. when you are devoted, when you are truly in service, you'll begin to hear correction as care, as intimacy, as love.
the correction itself isn't what wounds you, but the judgment you attach to it. because Her correction is proof that She sees more in you. and that alone is worth more than praise.
