That's a shame. I'm a node runner but it's great for showing people the lightning network in less than a minute (if they haven't downloaded a LN wallet before)

Speedwallet is decent for that (as far as custodial goes)

But running LNBits and setting them up and wallet on your node is the VERY BEST option.

All the normies that I showed WoS or LifPay or Pheonix to came to me when the price started rising wanting their funds and I had to explain that it rugged.

They never wanted another thing to do with bitcoin after that. Custodial apps might work as a quick fix, but long-term it’s a terrible option because people don’t move past custodial and the rugs are real.

Does speed wallet have LN addresses by any chance?

In my experience WoS was useful for initially showing people LN. Afterwards, people started using LN wallets with their own keys

Looks like it does support LN addresses. But so does LNBits

How were you getting people to hold their own lightning keys without running their own lightning node?
