Do you think it incredibly rude to wander into a lecture 30 minutes late ? π I donβt think I could do it

Do it! Apologize later. Get what you can out of it.
Depends on the circumstances. Don't give excuses tho. Just apologize.
"oh my goodness, thank you so much for being patient with my tardiness. I have no excuses, I was simply moving slower than usual today."
And then be mindful in the future. It's entirely different if it's an appointment though. A lecture is for a room full of people so it's not like they were left with no audience.
This response is mindful of their time, acknowledges your shortcoming in an honest way, and doesn't make you seem intimidated or weak by begging for favor in an apology. You still appear confident and sure of yourself while also acknowledging that you were neglectful of their time constraints.
It's better to stroll in with purpose if you're that late.
If you wander people will definitely think you're up to something.
I'm pretty sure I've done it, and it's whatever. I'd do it again.
See itβs stuff like this that makes you a slytherin Jay ππ« Iβm only teasing though, honestly I should have, the professor seemed really sweet and I could have apologised after, but I knew everyone would turn to look at me too and I donβt like standing out too much π
It's fair concern if the class is pretty small. But is being seen as a slacker in a university really all that bad? So long as you know you're not.
