When you start reading a book and after a while you decide that you don't like it, do you still finish it?

I used to, because I’m a bit of a completionist, but now I will just move on to something I like. It’s happened to me most recently with stopping an audiobook because I couldn’t handle the narrator.

I have the same issue with some audiobooks!

Depends, but typically no. Life is too short. Too many other books to read.

It usually takes 20-30 pages in order to decide if it is yes or no. Most are nos actually.

No, if I don't like it, I'll cry there. 🤷‍♂️

It depends .. if useless I stop reading it. If it is heavy but interesting and you don't have time .. I would postpone the reading to better times .. of course if it is breath taking and amazing .. you will read anyway discarding other things .. and fortunately usually it is speedy 😂

I'll give a book 30 pages. If I'm not interested in that point, then I put it down and pick up something else that seems interesting

I used to force myself, but then figured there are countless books out there, so why waste time on something you don’t like?

what if it becomes interesting after a while? 🤔 You are not haunted by the idea of having left something incomplete ad missing out something?

No 🤷‍♂️ If I don't like it I don't like it. If it gets interesting before I stop reading it then obviously I'll continue it

No. There’s plenty of other content to try. I don’t want to waste time slogging through stuff to see if I enjoy it

Nope

It rarely happens but if it does, no, I don't finish it.
