Quick thought about Twitter migration; I believe one of the big reasons BitcoinHackers.org Mastodon never really took of was because of the noncommittal twitter post mirroring bots. (Myself guilty)

Even though, the beauty of nostr is that we can’t technically block/prevent it. We should shame that behaviour and unfollow those accounts If we want this place to take off.

Nostr had 10k users, peak 5K active and prob 80% mirror bots. It had initial momentum, but the software is crap and ppl didn’t commit.

To clarify, when you say twitter post mirroring, do you mean that people would use tools to mirror what they post on twitter to Nostr, so that they don’t need to open their Nostr client for that purpose?

Or do you mean bots that mirror the posts of a twitter account to nostr that a user is following, so that they can see the posts of the people they follow on twitter over here?
