Sometimes Nostriches get lost and go back to their centralized angry places. Because of this, every once in a while I like to clean up my follows so that I can follow new and more active Nostriches. You can use this tool by nostr:npub1lqs30x7466guvx6r2cek8z9d4hpucycy7j08wx58cwx70m206q3qrscejr to clean up your follow list.

Noting for later

It could also be that they have interests outside of Nostr and Bitcoin. Nostr is basically a technically complicated web forum for those two topics right now. I love Nostr, but I'm taking it easy on people who want access to more communities. They may not be lost.

And I know someone will say it... The communities outside of Nostr and Bitcoin are statistically insignificant here. Pointing to a couple examples doesn't change that.

Some of the people seem to be angry here tooโ€ฆnot sure whatโ€™s the point of going on a social media platform to trigger yourself. ๐Ÿคฃ

Very useful

Some big npubs like Strike, Wallet of Satoshi, Highlighter have gone dead

WoS abandoned us when they left the USA ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

Strike could be more active and post updates here though. nostr:nprofile1qqsvf646uxlreajhhsv9tms9u6w7nuzeedaqty38z69cpwyhv89ufcqpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujucm4wfex2mn59en8j6gpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgqg5waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t0t25cfd whoever does the Twitter updates for Strike, could they do them here too? Perhaps you could run a Keycast instance so you don't have to give this person the private key.

WoS still works though?

It does if you don't live in the United States. Otherwise it's region locked and doesn't work. I believe you can get it to work at the VPN though?

If it is a resource issue, the Canadian exchange rate would make my salary quite reasonable, too. ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜

(I'm guessing it is silly regulation issues, but would โ™ฅ๏ธ to see Strike in Canada, BTW!)

๐Ÿ’ฏ agree would love to see Strike in ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

Hi derek ๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ๐ŸคŸ๐Ÿ˜‰ Yeah, having Strike post updates here would be a no-brainer. Nostr-native comms should be a priority for any Bitcoin company that values censorship resistance. A Keycast setup makes perfect sense no excuses, just decentralization done right

Never going back! ๐Ÿคช
