GM! β˜•οΈ How are you today? πŸ’œπŸ«‚ Yesterday we returned from #OFF in Oslo. It was wonderful to meet friends again and the conference was prepared at the highest level, inviting extraordinary speakers. Today I found such a surprise in the garden. The harvest is still small but it's only June πŸ˜‚πŸ€ͺπŸ₯¦πŸ«›πŸ₯¬πŸŒΆοΈ

Peppers and broc at the same time, god bless your climate!

Unfortunately, this year my bell pepper seeds did not germinate I think they froze and I had to buy peppers from the store, so it was probably from the greenhouse. This is the only vegetable that I did not grow from seed.

Peppers are very tender. I always have to start them inside in January with a heat mat and a germination dome.

Yes and I was too late, plus there was something wrong with seeds, well next year πŸ˜‚

I love gardening becasue you get one shot per year to get certain things right. Very proof of work!

Couldn't agree more, sometimes "time window" to do sth is so small, there's no really place for mistakes πŸ₯²πŸ˜‚

What did you plant this year?

Yeah when someone says they have been growing tomatoes for twenty years they have only done it twenty times! Imagine any other profession where you have only done the action 20 times in your entire career!! We grow heirlooms, peppers, eggplants, squash, peas, lettuce strawberries, herbs, edible flowers, fingerling potatoes, carrots.. little bit of everything.

Fantastic, I see we grow similar veggies, never tried potatoes or edible flowers, have to read about it.

Grow some fingerlings and caribe potatoes

You can eat borage, johnny jump ups, calendula, marigolds and bachelor buttons as edible flowers

Wow your friends with beautiful dishes, salads, cocktails with a conversation ingredient 🌺

Thank you, I will check them πŸ˜€πŸ’œπŸ«‚

Wow, ripe peppers and big tomatoes. I thought you're in Austria. My tomato plants just started to bloom, some of them. No ripe pepper in sight, sometimes the plants even haven't started blooming. And I thought that veggies are looking good this year. 😬

I sowed the tomatoes around March 23, but this variety of raspberry tomatoes is one of the early ones, so maybe that's why. The others have flowers πŸ™‚

Ok, that might be it (the variety of tomato).
