Considering the amount of C02 Bitcoin produces I would be very careful with this setup.

Actually Bitcoin produces zero carbon. It's completely digital.
Electricity generation which emits C02 or methane produces carbon, and it's produced whether Bitcoin miners use it or not.
So, Bubby, you better be very careful using electricity. If you're really worried about this type of thing you should probably turn off your computer, ditch your x-mass lights, and maybe stop living like a modern human altogether. Maybe there's a hunter-gatherer tribe left in the deepest jungle that'll let you join, or maybe you could join an Amish community.
If that doesn't work for you, try living like a homeless person. After all the homeless have a very low carbon footprint.
