What I have found is that even less then people accepting Bitcoin, most people have put zero thought or effort into opening even a custodial wallet in order to transact BTC.

I think that CashApp is has done a superb job in making it relatively easy to onboard Bitcoin users.

... Now, how the hell do we get all our friends to do the KYC, load the app and fuck around with it?πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

I always have them download WoS. I have only had two people ever decline. It’s fast and a simple interface.

Mix it up with Bitcoin Beach.

I agree with WOS ease of use.

But it's mostly a means to transfer sats at this point.

The user then needs to figure out how and what to do next in order to monetize the sats.

*Connect a bank account to WOS?

*Open an exchange account?

*What's cold storage, probably not there yet.

*Find a retailer or another Bitcoiner that will take sats as a medium of exchange.
