Sugar is a shitcoin.
You're just a brocoiner. Sugar is epic.
What's a brocoiner?
An unquestionable follower of any cryptocurrency who doesnt critically think.

Lulz, I’ve probably done more research in Bitcoin than he’s done in anything else combined. Once you understand Bitcoin, you get a few lines into a shitcoin white paper and already realize it’s complete crap. Happens time and time again. I give other coins a listen sometimes, but there hasn’t been a single one that doesn’t have flaws.
The lightning network is cool, but it's non-nativeness and time sensitivity is well, worrying when people place it under the guise of "enhancing bitcoin security".
That's all I am going to say, as a computer scientist I am here for the science - not political team sports (which a lot of the nostr bitcoiners seem to have in mind).
Maybe take a look https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKdK-7AtAMQ before assuming that I am somehow angry with you or trying to "win the argument" which is not the case. I am trying to be genuine.
Wait who said it was supposed to enhance Bitcoin's security?
I asked someone about why is Bitcoin shilled a lot here instead of Monero (which has privacy benefits), and somehow Monero was pushed to the way side, seeminly I assumed that they meant the lightning network enhanced privacy, which it _can_ do but I wouldn't call its approach the best I have seen on the marketplace of ideas (nor do I think it was designed with that intention anyways)
Do feel free to clear any misconceptions which may have been brewed up within my mind if so - but that was simply my first impression
But I do find it odd that Bitcoin is pushed a lot because I thought privacy was something people cared a lot for, don't get me wrong Bitcoin is cool and so is lightning but it left me wondering if a lot of the people pushing Bitcoin here were not just agents of governments who were pushing a tool which makes transaction tracking, well, easier and more automatable (standardised too) - there's a lot of attention around Bitcoin as the god of cryptocurrencies when it is rather just a piece of technology like any other with advantages and disadvantages but it doesn;t seem to be treated like that but rather has a cultish following.
I would much rather be in the cult of privacy and find the best tool and/or weigh up the benefits and diadvantages of each piece of technology per situation but by large that doesn't seem the case here OR maybe my bias of privacy-enjoying is wrong - most people DON'T care all too much about privacy and would rather use BTC+LGHTNG for simply faster Bitcoin transactions.
I'm not a fan of zaps in their current form. Yes, they're a nice plaything, but having a static LNURL address for receiving AND announcing publicly that you paid something is bad for privacy (for sender and receiver).
BOLT12 seems to be the best solution at the moment but it's likely a few years away.
