Had a channel force close in zeus. I have to admit, I fucking hate lightning. I lost so many sats in the past years with channel force closes, channel opening fees and reckt backups, I easily could have paid every on-chain fee and it would be less expensive than using lightning. But muh lightning is so cheap and fast. What a shit show. I'm done with it. GM!

Check out AquaWallet by Jan3 (https://aquawallet.io/) then. It allows you to both send and receive Lightning payments without actually using lightning. It does that by holding your daily spending on the Liquid side chain and swaps liquid to pay the lightning invoice you need to pay. Similarly you can create an lightning invoice for people who want to pay you but you'll receive in liquid BTC. That way you'll never have to open or manage any lightning channels but can still use lightning non-custodially with way lower fees than if you were to swap from bitcoin main chain to lightning like Muun used to do.
