Back in the day, before phones and computers took over, getting together with friends was as easy as shouting their names near their houses or knowing where to find them. We'd hop on our bikes and head out, creating memories that were simple yet meaningful. It was a great moments! The world has changed.

It is a totally different vibe. I have really fond memories of pre-smartphone days, or pre-instant-message days. When at most you called on a land line.

Where I was growing even the landline phones were rare

Remembering very well. Easy lighthearted times🙏

Yup. I used to just play with my friends straight out of school until my mum shouted out the window “dinner!” and then back out again until it was dark. Didn’t even need a watch!

This is how we raised our kids 🤙🏻

I think this detachment from the real world is also in part to blame for so many valuing their theories over reality.
