I’ve decided to give Conditional Power of Attorney to a childhood friend. Should my cognitive faculties be impaired, he’ll have the authority to manage my estate
I’ve also decided to will everything to his kids
I just need enough money to live with dignity in a comfortable home 🏡
This conditional Power of Attorney thing is a great idea. No need to invest anything anywhere and complicate things. Let it all just lie in the bank

But also not going to rely on a “trust” model.
I trust my friend! He’s more than like family
He’s loaned me money so many times. I will will everything to his girls
I’m not being critical of the trust model, I just think there are other options.

Robots will be a thing within the next 5 - 10 years.
I intend for AI to study me intensely, copy my personality to a robot, which will then be my carer.
I would prefer this be done biologically. This may be possible in the future.
I have been keeping all journals and personal documents since childhood for such an occasion.
Ray Kurzweil did this for his dad, but his dad did not have the advantage of the biotechnical revolution that we will have access to.
This sounds like a great solution.
