The America my forefathers built beginning in 1640 was done for with the ratification of The Constitution and in it's place was put The United States of America, lowering the bar for entry and trading a central authority 1000s of miles away to one a horseride away for safety and security.

Satoshi Nakamoto built Bitcoin beginning in 2007 and it was done for in 2013 when The USA attached a $ value to a bitcoin, magically waving away the power of Bitcoin, and a lower standard for entry was created while central authorities (uh em, Cash app, Coinbase) were looked to for safety and security at expense of independence and freedom.

We need a patch.
