Sadly yes. I wish there was a way to stop sharing our data. Like opting out plus as soon as we log out out our data is deleted from the server.

Phat chance anyone actually deletes your data. POPI act or not, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone actually do it

I deleted my Facebook (not Meta) account because it was sharing my data with 300+ organisation

The “App Settings” page allows you to see all the apps that have access to your Facebook account

To do this, open your Facebook account and go to the “Settings” menu, and then click “Apps and Websites.”

It’s wild. I deleted my Facebook account a few years back. I couldn’t handle the constant monitoring, censorship and product placements. Along with the fact that details of my life were just being sold
