Welcome to the club. I have a windows machine and an M1 Max,

And damn is it so superior in every way. Only downside is that some games aren’t built for the Mac

Apparently IOS 17 launch will come with side loading at least in the EU so there is hope

Writing an HTTP server in Rust is a dream. Holy shit, I might never look at any other language again

Phat chance anyone actually deletes your data. POPI act or not, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone actually do it

Unfortunate. Google and other search engines struggle to resist the urge to shove products and location base information down my throat while I search for obscure things

Agreed? I don’t even want the tax man looking at my bank account, nevermind some evil mega corp tracking what I’m watching, listening to or even speaking about in my private life

Man it’s going to be really funny when Bitcoin is legal tender globally, when nostr backs the biggest social networks and when SCL is used as the basis for international payments 😂

Guys we’re a few weeks away from releasing our first product to showcase our new tech, and doing our first demo this Friday. Cannot contain the excitement

In order for bitcoin to see mass adoption. We need tokenisation of lightning and smart contracts. As much as it invites degens, client side validation doesn’t muddy the chain, and allows for use cases such as B2B solutions and other software adoption that will allow your layman to take the orange pill.

Tokenising lightning isn’t just about shitcoins,

It’s about decentralised distribution of digital assets. Picture software license distribution , where ownership of these keys is distributable peer to peer, and ownership is verifiable and backed by bitcoin.

Swift is fine and all, but Android studio and Xcode themselves are a pain in my arse.

Eh, as far as high level languages ago I feel it ranks up there actually. Plus, the community contributes a ton to some great widgets which allow for some really flexible and readily available features.

Also, no need to deal with Xcode/android studio until build time which is what really sells it for me.

Have you considered a port over to something like flutter for cross platform development ?
