This leads me to believe they feel threatened by Grok and Llama. They have data moats, openai only has third world eye scans.
They as are churning through cash for now. Lost billions last year. They are raising so much capital currently, it makes sense to to this now, not after/if they make a profit later on. Not surprised at all.
