That’s fair, minor counterpoint is that my sovereignty is up to me to the extent I could volunteer to be a slave, I just want a government that doesn’t add stumbling blocks to my path, if any

It's funny you mention that. While writing the original reply, I didn't love the "who will most leave me", because it assumes the third party gives you allowance to be sovereign, which kinda doesn't make sense.

We both probably align closer to: "I'll vote for the person who will respect my sovereignty."
