Trying to test out the new coinswap app, but, yuck, having to get testnet4 coins is a pain. I only found one faucet that gave me 50K sats then I'm blocked for 12 hours, all the other faucet links (including the one on the repo) go to a faucet at mempool.space, and here's the kicker: you have to sign up by linking your twitter account! And my throwaway account that's linked from google and I never use, actually gets rejected, lol.

Hmm come to think of it, a testnet faucet would be a good application for my aut-ct project ... you can't spam them then, without a cost. And you're still private to the faucet.

Progress report, I've set it up but I can't seem to make the actual coinswap step work; I *think* it's because Tor is being naughty. See:

Shoot an address if you want some signet coins for playing with, or if you want enough to setup a faucet. Faucets get drained pretty quick once they get noticed, it seems, so it's hard to be generous and anonymous.

Thanks. I have 200K from 3 faucets now, but I'll ask if I need more.

I have a workshop next week with 24 students and i think signet will be easiest for it. Best in 12 pairs so i'd like to prepare 12 wallets with 300K each, so if you could spare 4M to this it'it'd be greatly appreciated:

(I did have a few M sats before but lost them in a tragic laptop-coffee accident)

People are pushing up minfee a bunch, so you might have to be careful of that

Thanks, and for the warning too, I'll keep an eye on it.

try testnet4.info ;)
