#mulberry #grownostr #pests so these guys are growing in my mulberry trees. A wasp is flying around, not sure if it is eating them or they are wasp larvae. Anyone seen these before?

Looks like web worms to me.

Tent caterpillars?

That was my guess too

Looks like tent caterpillers, and i know that wasps eat them, so hopefully they are taking care of the problem. I had lots of these things in a pecan tree once, and i used a long pole to tear the tent a tiny bit, and almost immediately i saw wasps going in to eat.

I have the same on my mulberries rn so I just looked this up the other day!

I believe they are Fall webworm (Hyphantria cunea). They grow up to be those white fluffy moths. Kind of a pest but otherwise harmless. Your trees should be fine as long as they don't get out of control. Wasps are a predator, so it's probably looking for lunch.
