After a decade of heavy, daily use, I abandoned Evernote years ago, eventually landing on Obsidian. Last night, I finally got around to freeing those old notes and archiving them as an Obsidian vault. Yarle made it effortless—after the tedious process of exporting from Evernote.

Have you had issues with Obsidian taking forever to load up? Or could this have something to do with my setup or maybe a plugin or something specifically? I swear it takes longer to load Obsidian than it does to boot my computer.

Oof, that is definitely not my experience. Granted, I have < 1000 notes/files. I imported a few hundred from Roam, but it’s still a relatively small collection.

On my 2022 MacBook Air, it’s nearly instant.

Mine is fast too, Guy. On all my devices. How many notes do you have? Try disabling plugins to see if that's causing an issue. (My first Nostr post!)
