too much stress? Maybe its time to pull back a bit, zoom out and see where the existing momentum is going

Push & be pushed sounds right... We're in control when it's push time, with no indication of how long it'll last until its be pushed time. Then ride or wreck... also for an indeterminate length of time... with some waiting in line for your turn in between if you're lucky. 😅 That's how I feel it anyway.
