I explained to him the disadvantages and possible consequences of the whole idea.

He asked if he could do it. I told him that it was up to him to decide if the experiment was worth the trouble or not. (big internal victory. Obvious answer was “fuck no you madman 🤣)

He decided not to do it (second victory)
